Carrying the same Krypton designation as version 17.0 that came before it, this new release comes after a Release Candidate cycle that started about a month ago. The good people over at Kodi have recently released the final version of their popular media management tool Kodi 17.1 Krypton. And with it comes a slew of new updates aimed at fixing bugs that were causing issues for its users. There is a Version available, named: kodi-2016e8-yab-tvos.deb but when I install it into my Apple TV 4 the it is the Kodi 17 version and not the KOdi 17.1 Did you guys maybe uploaded the wrong.deb file?

Kodi 17 Krypton Changes and Improvements
- Brand new default skins! Gone is Confluence and in is Estuary and Estouchy (optimized for tablets).
- Improvements to DVDPlayer, which allow for playback of DVD discs/files.
- Updates to videorendering and openGL drivers.
- Complete rewrite of audio/video syncing (less offset audio).
- Improved playback of live streams. Internal buffers no longer fill up!
- Input stream add-ons – Add-ons can now be written to support multiple stream qualities or camera angles and you can select this on the fly in Kodi. For example, a stream might be offered in 540p, 720p, or 1080p and you can now switch on-the-fly in Kodi.
- Kodi PVR settings improved.
- Full HD audio passthrough support in Android.
- Android 5.0 Lollipop minimum. This means Android 4.4, which is now 2.5 years old, is not supported by Kodi. This should give you a good baseline for which Kodi boxes to avoid buying online.
- Custom AMLogic Kodi code has been turned off, which is one of the reasons that Android 4.4 firmware is no longer supported.
- If installing third-party add-ons, you have to acknowledge that the add-on is not supported by the Kodi foundation.
- You can now view which add-ons have been installed or updated.
- Settings section has now been made more clear.
- Music library improvements – tag reading and scraping, improved artists handling.
- Tons of other improvements.

Simple guide to use kodi without Jailbreak in idevices
As the first step you have to pay attention on the requirements. For that let us move to the requirements list.
Kodi requirements of 17.1 versions
As the first thing you have to have an IPA file of Kodi 17.1 copies. Download the file to the computer.
Copy latest version on the Cydia Impactor. This particular software is available on several operating systems. They are: MacOS X, Linux 32-bit, Windows and Linux 64-bit.
Update the iTunes app as latest version.
The Process of sideloading the Kodi 17.1 to the iOS 10 operating system
Let us check how to perform sideload without Jailbreak.
First, you have to connect the idevice with iOS 10 iOS running to a computer using a USB cable.
Run the exe.file of the Cydia Impactor.
Now the idevice will be successfully detected during this process. You will find a drop-down list with the name of the idevice you have plugged. Find your device name and then you have to select it.
Drag the IPA file of the software KodiFree Download 17.1. Now drag that to Cydia interface.
Some Important steps of choosing the Apple ID
Now during this step you have to type Apple ID. So if you own a paid Apple ID, then type them. This will stop the users to re-signing the app certificate for every 7 days. If you like to have the free ID, that can be obtained from the apple website, by finding the option of app-specific passwords. Then click ‘generate password’.
After you enter the ID, Cydia starts the sideload for the Kodi 17.1 the krypton to the iOS 10 device.
After the completion the Kodi Free Download icon will be on the home screen. Don’t launch it. You have to navigate to the settings, then general, then profiles. Now look at kodi profile.
